Dental practice growth marketing, organised by your practice's situation
On this page
Dental practice growth marketing changes with the practice's situation more than with the channel. A practice moving from NHS to private care, a practice that opened last month and a practice being prepared for sale need different plans, even if all three run Google Ads and post on Instagram.
Pick the guide for your situation below. Each one covers what changes in the plan and what stays the same. I'm Mohammad Fayez, and these guides come from the work I do for practices: one person planning search, ads, content and tracking as one system.
Growth marketing starts with your situation
| Your situation | What changes most in the plan |
|---|---|
| Mixed NHS and private | Positioning, price information and plans |
| New or squat practice | Building demand before reviews and rankings exist |
| Two or three sites | Profiles, pages, budgets and reports per site |
| Planning a sale | Owned assets and records a buyer can check |
Mixed practices
A mixed practice offers NHS and private care side by side. Growth here is about presenting private options clearly, publishing prices and plans, and doing it without making NHS patients feel pushed. Read growing private care in a mixed practice.
New practices
A squat practice opens from scratch, with no patient list, reviews or search history. The plan sequences what a new website and a new Google profile can and cannot do in the first year. Read marketing a new or squat practice.
Multi-site
Adding a second or third site means each location needs its own Google profile, its own pages and its own numbers, while sharing a brand. The guide is written for independents, not corporates. Read marketing a two- or three-site practice.
Planning a sale
Buyers look at income, profit and how dependent a practice is on its owner. Marketing shows up in owned accounts, documented systems and records that link spend to private revenue. Read how marketing affects what your practice is worth.
None of these situations changes the foundations. Every plan starts from research into your catchment, and every channel is measured against booked and completed treatment rather than clicks. If your practice fits more than one situation, start with the one that decides your next twelve months.
To see how those foundations are delivered, read what an engagement includes. To talk about your practice, email me at [email protected].
